Last night Addison got to go on her first date ever. This date was complete with a corsage and tickets to the theatre. She was so excited because she recently found out that mommy and daddy occasionally go on "dates" and has been excited ever since.
This date was with her daddy. And right now that made her so happy she couldn't even stand it. And daddy will take that while he still can, because he knows it won't last forever.
We had a great time and she was the most beautiful date anyone could ask for. Everyone kept stopping and talking to her and telling her how beautiful she was. (She liked that a little bit). She felt like a true princess and couldn't stop asking "Dad when are we going on our date" all day long.
She did so good even though the play was almost 3 hours long and it didn't get over till after 10pm. She was a trooper and although it was hard to see the stage at times she sure loved to watch her cousin Cameron up there singing.
Thank you Grandma for making Addie's beautiful corsage for her. You saved my bacon.
I have the most beautiful daughter and I love her so much, Addie thank you for going on a date with me and I can't wait until we get to go again.
