Proud Texans

I have to admit one thing that i love about this place is the fact that people really love where they come from. I took a few pictures at the parade yesterday that illustrate this point quite well I think.

They really take the time here to celebrate right. They celebrate that they are Americans as well as Texans, and that is always fun.

We got to the parade and got our spot (in the sun of course). This guy and his family come and sit next to us and put up their tent to shade them. He sees that we have kids and that we are baking in the sun. So he gets on his cell phone and calls his wife to go get their other tent and bring it for us because he doesn't want the kids getting to hot. So she does and while she is gone he moves to the sun so the four of us can sit in his shade. What a nice guy. That was only the beginning. All day long people were talking to us. Walking back to the car after Connor got bit by the ants, a lady grabbed his hand and walked him around the ant piles to our car because the two of us had our hands completely full of stuff and were trying to talk him through them. People are so nice here and they willing to help out just out of general christian goodness. I love it.

Which one is the chair?
